About the role
We're seeking a dental assitant for a fixed term at Te Hiku Dental in Kaitaia.

Fixed Term – Start ASAP – 3 August – 27 November 2026 

*may change depending upon future staffing

Key Responsibilites

  • To assist the dentist in all clinical procedures

  • Ensure that the surgical areas and equipment are regularly cleaned and maintained

  • Materials, supplies, equipment, instruments, records are prepared and available for the day’s patients
     

What we're looking for

  • Someone who can maintain patient confidentiality

  • High standard of cleanliness, ensure all areas of the dental clinic are regularly 
    cleaned and maintained

  • Willing to complete NZDA Dental Assistants Certificate

  • Clear communicator – oral and written
