About the role
As a Nurse (Registered, Enrolled, Practice) at Te Hiku Hauora Ltd, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive healthcare services to the community in the Kaitaia Northland region. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dedicated and supportive team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients of all ages.

What you'll be doing

  • Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care for patients across the lifespan

  • Providing clinical expertise and holistic care to patients in a community-based setting

  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and seamless patient care

  • Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with professional and organisational standards

  • Actively participating in continuing professional development to enhance your nursing knowledge and skills

  • Promoting health and wellness within the community through education and prevention initiatives

  • Infusing your personality, passion for healthcare, and experiences into your role
     

What we're looking for

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse, Enrolled Nurse or Practice Nurse with the Nursing Council of New Zealand

  • Demonstrated experience in a community-based nursing role

  • Strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

  • A passion for improving health outcomes for diverse populations and a deep understanding of cultural safety

  • Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the growth and development of the nursing team
