Te Hiku Pae Tawhiti is a Hauora Māori-led work readiness programme designed to help whānau in the Far North overcome barriers to employment and education.

What to Expect

Participants who enter employment or study within eight weeks of completion will receive an additional 182 days of pastoral care and support.

This programme is designed to create real, lasting opportunities for whānau.

Who Can Join?

Te Hiku Pae Tawhiti welcomes WINZ-registered clients from Kaitaia Service Centre.

Our focus is on supporting job seekers and individuals with health conditions or disabilities re-entering the workforce. Referrals are accepted from Work and Income, community organisations, agencies, or self-referral.
