Te Hiku Pae Tawhiti is a Māori-led work readiness programme designed to do more than just help people into jobs. It’s about removing obstacles, uplifting whānau, and creating pathways to long-term success in both employment and education.

Built for Māori job seekers and those facing challenges re-entering the workforce, this 10-week programme doesn’t just train participants—it transforms lives.

What Makes This Kaupapa Different?

✅ Whānau-centred support – A hauora-first approach, using Te Whare Tapa Whā as a foundation.
✅ Work-ready skills – Hands-on training in CV writing, interviews, digital literacy, and career coaching.
✅ Pathways to study and employment – Micro-credentials, tertiary study, and direct job placements.
✅ Real, long-term support – 182 days of ongoing pastoral care after the programme ends.
