This free service is available to all Māmā, regardless of registration with Te Hiku Hauora.
It offers a variety of wānanga and services designed to support all māmā, ensuring that tamariki have the opportunity to thrive and blossom.

Hei Tiaki Māmā

A space for māmā, by māmā – to uplift, empower, and connect. 

Hei Tiaki Māmā is a free weekly programme designed to support the holistic wellbeing of māmā, grounded in the values of te ao Māori, the Te Whare Tapa Whā model, mahi wairua, and more.

Runs in the school term, every Tuesday from 9.30am till 12.30pm

  • Reconnect with yourself and your identity as a wahine and a māmā

  • Explore the challenges we face in a supportive, understanding space

  • Learn how to make informed decisions for your Hauora and whānau

  • Set personal goals, gain new tools, and celebrate your growth

  • Connect, laugh, learn, and thrive with other incredible māma
