Over the past few months we have been working collaboratively with Auckland Inorganic Reuse Project to put aside household goods for whanau with high and complex needs here in the Muriwhenua. We organised for CBEC Kaitaia to collect the goods from the Auckland Inorganic Reuse Project once there was enough items to fill a truck.
We just received the first truck load of beds, lounge suites, tables, chairs, drawers and sporting equipment; which were promptly distributed to whanau in the Muriwhenua area.
Muriwhenua Collective would like to thank Auckland Inorganic Reuse Project for their support and generosity in providing us with household furnishings, and a big mihi to CBEC Kaitaia for going down to collect and storing the goods on their truck.
